Բրիտանական Daily Mail պարբերականը հրապարակած է Միացեալ Նահանգներու ներքին անվտանգութեան ծառայութեան լուսանկարները, որոնք առնուած են Լատինական Ամերիկայէն ժամանած հազարաւոր ներգաղթեալներու ժամանակաւոր ապաստարաններուն մէջ եւ ցոյց կու տան, թէ ինչ սարսափելի պայմաններու մէջ կը պահուին այդ մարդիկ:

Լուսանկարները առնուած են Մեքսիքային սահմանակից հատուածներուն մէջ:

Ներքին անվտանգության ծառայության տեսուչները, միգրացիոն կենտրոններ այցելելով, բազմաթիվ խախտումներ են արձանագրել և որպես ապացույց այս կադրերը ֆիքսել:

Անոնք արձանագրած են, որ սենեակներուն ու խցերուն մէջ մարդոց քանակը քանի մը անգամ կը գերազանցէ թոյլատրելի շեմը: Ներգաղթեալները, այդ շարքին՝ երեխաները, չեն կրնար պահպանել անձնական մաքրութեան կանոնները, լոգանք չեն ընդունիր եւ ստիպուած են մարմինը մաքրել իրենց տրուող թաց անձեռոցիկներով: Անոնք զրկուած են հագուստը փոխելու հնարաւորութենէն եւ կը շարունակեն կրել այն նոյն հագուստը, որով շաբաթներ առաջ ժամանած են ԱՄՆ: Ներգաղթեալները ստիպուած են քնանալ չոր յատակին:

Տեսուչները կազմած են արձանագրութիւն՝ նշելով, որ պայմանները, որոնց մէջ կը պահուին հազարաւոր մարդիկ, այդ շարքին՝ քանի մը ամսական երեխաներ, պէտք է անհանգստութեան լուրջ տեղիք տան ԱՄՆ կառավարութեան մօտ:

Fifty one females were being held in a cell designated for male juveniles with a capacity for 40

Families with small children were being forced to sleep on the floor of cages with foil blankets in McAllen.Â The inspectors reported serious overcrowding at the facilities and prolonged detention of unaccompanied children, families and single adults

The report states that children at three of the facilities inspected had no access to showers and limited access to a change of clothes

Inspectors say 88 males were being held in this cell that has a capacity of 41. Many banged on the window as inspectors walked past and held up notes saying how long they'd been held in custody

Inspectors reported that it was standing room only in some cells where adult males were being held in McAllen on June 10

Agents were giving detainees wet wipes to maintain hygiene and most adults were still wearing the same clothes they'd arrived in days, weeks and even a month prior
