Սփյուռքում ապրող հայուհի Փաթիլ Բազդոն (Բաղդոյան) փնտրում է իր ազգականներին: Նա հետևյալ բովանդակությամբ նամակ է հղել լրատվամիջոցներին.
«Բարև Ձեզ: Մենք Բաղդոյենց ընտանիքն ենք: Մեծ պապիկիս անունը Բաղդո էր, իմ պապիկի անունը Մինաս Բաղդո էր, Արևմտյան Հայաստանի Բալու գյուղից, նրանք ունեին 4 ականի ջրաղաց: Իրենք 5 եղբայր և 2 քույր էին: Ջարդի ժամանակ պապիկս ջրաղացում է եղել, երբ իրեն լուր են տվել, որ ամբողջ ընտանիքդ սպանել են, քեզ էլ են սպանելու, նա փակել է ջրաղացն ու փախել Տիգրանակերտ: Հետո իրեն ասել են, որ իր եղբայրներից երկուսը կարողացել են փախչել, բայց ինքը նրանց չի գտել: Նա հաստատվել է Տիգրանակերտում և սկսել է գորգի վաճառքով զբաղվել: Այնուհետև ամուսնացել է և ծնվել է հայրիկս: Նրանք տեղափոխվել են Սիրիայի Ղամիշլի քաղաքը, որտեղ պապիկս մահացել է, երբ հայրիկս ընդամենը 5 տարեկան էր: Հայրս շատ փոքր է եղել, այդ պատճառով շատ տեղեկություններ չունի։ Բարեկամներն ու ծանոթները հայրիկիս միշտ ասել են, որ Բաղդոյենք Բալուում հայտնի ընտանիք են եղել: Պապիկիս եղբայրների անուններն են` Եղիա, Հովհաննես, Ղուկաս, իսկ մյուս երկուսի անունները չգիտենք: Մենք կարծում ենք, որ եթե պապիկիս երկու եղբայրները կարողացել են փախչել, ապա հնարավոր է, որ նրանք էլ են ընտանիք են կազմել և երեխաներ ունեցել: Շատ ուրախ կլինենք, եթե որևէ մեկը կարողանա օգնել գտնելու նրանց կամ նրանց մասին ինչ-որ տեղեկություններ տրամադրի: Նախօրոք` շնորհակալություններ: patil.talo@gmail.com
Hello. We, the Baghdo family, my great grandfather’s name was Baghdo and my grandfather's name was Minas Baghdo, from the the village of Palo in Western Armenia (eastern Turkey). They had a four-wheel mill and they were 5 brothers and 2 sisters. As the massacres started, my grandfather happened to be at the mill and they told him that his entire family was killed, and that they are after him, too. He closed the mill and ran away to Dikranagerd (Diyarbekir). Later he was told that two of his brothers were able to escape, but he was not able to trace them. After settling in Dikranagerd he becomes preoccupied in the production of rugs and gets married. Soonafter my father was born and they departed to Syria, where the grandfather passes away, while my father was at the age of five. This is why he has no further information on the whereabouts of the relatives of my grandfather. Friends of my father informed him that the Baghdo family was prominent and well known in Balo. The names of my father's three uncles were Yeghia, Hovhannes, and Ghukas. He can’t remember the names of the remaining two uncles. We anticipate that if the two brothers were salvaged, they might have married and have children.
